Kwhen gamers choose the Xbox console as a video game device, then they will receive recommendations for various devices and accessories that are officially supported by Microsoft . Headphones, controls, and racing steering wheel available for Xbox are officially licensed. And it is specifically made and designed as a complementary component that aims to maximize the gaming experience in it.
Microsoft really cares about devices third-party that gamers are usually looking for to pair with their consoles. So instead of letting gamers guess which device is suitable, Microsoft chose to cooperate with the manufacturer. Then Microsoft will label the product device as a result of the collaboration with the words “ Designed for Xbox ” emblazoned on the packaging and promotional materials.
Most recently, Microsoft collaborated with three major monitor manufacturers to make devices supporting Xbox X|S. Namely Philips, Asus, and Acer, each of which released one type of monitor with a special design for the Xbox. A collaboration intended to provide a higher quality gaming experience.
Each monitor made for this Xbox has a different size. Depending on the needs as well as the ability of gamers to adopt the device. The first is the Philips Momentum 559M1RYV with a 55” screen size, then the ASUS Strix Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XG43UQ with a 43” screen size, and finally there is the Acer Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XV282K KV using the smallest screen 28”. The three new monitor types will add to the product lineup from the big company that fills the official line of accessories for the Xbox .
Microsoft Ensures Qualified Specifications On Each Monitor
The monitor manufacturing company that Microsoft is partnering with is not a child yesterday afternoon. They are used to making high-quality products in the realm of gaming. “We want to help Xbox fans find the ideal monitor for the gaming experience they want. With so many options available that are endless and sometimes overwhelming, the Designed for Xbox team is still here to help you (gamers),” said Ethan Rothamel of Team Designed for Xbox.
The most reliable technology of these three monitors comes in an HDMI 2.1 port. The port is prepared as a medium for high-quality visual output up to 4K found on next-gen consoles .All three are also capable of producing a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, as well as AMD Freesync support in it.
Even so, each manufacturer also tucked their own distinctive features in the monitor. Like Philips, which crams luxury audio speaker features from Bowers & Wilkins and lighting from Ambiglow. Or Asus through the response time (MPRT) technology of up to 1 millisecond and the Display HDR1000 feature in it. And finally, Acer is inserting the VESA Display HDR400 feature for a more immersive visual experience.
