DAt the Global Press Conference Next@Acer which took place on 27 May in Taipei, Acer announced the addition of products to its gaming desktop portfolio. One of the updates with more advanced capabilities is the Predator Orion 3000 gaming desktop.
This device has been updated to include the latest 11th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, as well as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs. Plus various improvements in many aspects to spoil gamers. Check out his review below.
Acer Predator Orion 3000 with Intel Core i7 Gen 11
The Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) is designed for gamers looking for the best-in-class hardware experience a mid-tower desktop device can provide. This gaming desktop is equipped with an 11th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor.
The new Intel Core i7 processor core architecture improves hardware and software efficiency. This delivers smooth gameplay, high frame rates, and a true-to-life immersive look.
GPU GeForce RTX 3070
Well, the Predator Orion 3000 GPU uses a GeForce RTX 3070 which is supported by the NVIDIA Ampere architecture which is the 2nd generation NVIDIA RTX architecture. Built with enhanced Ray Tracing Cores and Tensor Cores, new multiprocessor streaming, and high-speed G6 memory, this technology delivers the power needed to run high-end games.
To keep the device cool, the specially designed, patented 92×92 mm FrostBlade fan provides high static pressure and airflow to ensure the Orion 3000 stays cool to operate at optimal levels. There are four RGB LEDs mounted directly to the FrostBlade fan hub.
Users can adjust the vertical light bar on the front of the case via PredatorSense. This is an Acer-specific utility application that allows users to manage and monitor system, lighting, and fan speeds from a single location.
In addition to the Intel Killer E2600 for high-end speeds and Wi-Fi 6 with MU-MIMO functionality, a wide range of USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, both Type-A and Type-C, and DTS:X Ultra audio, the Predator Orion 3000 also features options. optional EMI-compliant side panel made of tempered glass that shows what’s inside. Support 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD (1TB x2) up to 6 TB HDD (3TB x2), delivering large memory capacity that is spacious.
Well, what about the price and availability? Please be patient. Because the latest Predator Orion 3000 series is still not available in Indonesia. As a rule of thumb, gaming desktops aimed at this mid-range in the previous generation were pegged at $999 (about 14 million) for the lowest component options.
